I am Linda. I am in need of a kidney transplant. I am in end stage kidney disease. The kidney may fail soon or up to a year, at which time I will need dialysis. My greatest hope is that a living donor could step up to give this gift of life before I need dialysis.
Help from a living donor would allow me to continue my career without further interruption. I am a permanent substitute teacher, applying for regular teaching jobs. If I have a transplant soon, I can avoid dialysis. I can continue to work and give back to society.
I know this is a big ask. It would mean everything to me if you can consider testing to give a transplant. A living donation can last us to 25 years, versus a deceased kidney lasting up to 10 years.
I pray for someone with a calling to do this. Please click on my website for more information: Kidney4Linda Or if you can please pass this information on.
With gratitude,
Linda
