Hi, I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Larry Conliffe, I'm in need of a kidney Transplant as soon as possible.
In November 2024, my kidney was amazing! Numbers were great! I've always been taking care of myself, doing everything right, toom my anti rejection meds on time and never missed a dose, I was also on Bellatacept once a month infusion to prolong the life of my new kidney that I received summer of 2017. Come early January 2025 with routine lad work, my numbers were way off. I just don't understand what happened. I'm so devastated and lost right now. I found this out when I was living in Oak Grove KY and my doctor referred me to Louisville Trager Transplant team, which was 2 hrs. and 41 min. Away from me the drive itself was long and the wear and tear on my car and the gas was all too much for me, so we decided to relocate to Louisville to be much closer to my new Transplant team. Been here in Louisville for 2 weeks, come to find out that I can't even be put on the Transplant list because my Medicare won't pay for it all and I can't get Midicaid because I make too much on SSDI?? I just don't understand. A living donor would be best because it will eliminate some of the process which will make it cheaper for me. Please help me stay alive I'm not ready to die.
I would be grateful if you shared this page.
