My name is Jim Morgan, I’m 59 years old, and I am in urgent need of a kidney transplant. I have been surviving on dialysis since June of 2022. Unfortunately, my family has a hereditary genetic disease that affects our kidneys. Other members of my family have been lucky enough to receive a transplant. Now I too am looking for a living donor.

Though I feel very fatigued now, I’ve been told throughout my life that I have a lot of energy. I was a race car driver, a professional bull rider, and served our country in the Army. There I found a passion for helping patients. After serving I built my own medical Diagnostic Imaging Company, allowing me to give back to the community. I miss working.

A new kidney would allow to work full time, spend time with my grandchildren, and create more memories with the love of my life Shelly. Apart from this genetic disease I’ve always done my best to live a healthy lifestyle.The one thing I could use is the gift of life from a living donor. I would be so grateful if you shared my story.
