I am Harold Scott, or Scottie to many friends. I have been living with ESRD for a long time now, and am on the transplant list for a kidney. My hope is for a living donor.
I do peritoneal dialysis every night for 8.5 hours, but I have hope that a donor will be found so that I can get back to a more normal life.
I lost my only sister to kidney failure in December 2022, so I know what might lie ahead for me if a donor is not found, even though I can continue with dialysis, I'd rather that not be my only option.
