I was forced into this journey a little over a year ago after being diagnosed with kidney failure due to complications from diabetes. I started home Peritoneal Dialysis in August of 2025 and have now begun the process to start hemodialysis. This past year has been the most complicated and emotional I have ever had to fight through.
As of July of this year, I have been placed on the waitlist for a kidney transplant. Although I have the support of my entire family and friends, the best way to support us during this time is to share my story and share how to become a living donor. Although this does not guarantee I will find a match for myself, bringing awareness to organ donation and living with kidney failure means so much to me and my family.
