Hi, my name is Christine Beverly, and I’m in urgent need of a kidney transplant. I am currently on dialysis. I do dialysis 3 days a week, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, which takes a huge toll on my body.

Before kidney failure, I was very active​. I loved going out shopping with my only daughter, cooking, and helping out in the community. On 03/29/23 my kidneys failed, and dialysis took all my independence away and left me fighting for my life.

I have ​t​aken many step​s towards a healthier journey to help better my health in hopes of receiving a kidney transplant. A kidney from a living donor​ would change my life for the better. I would no longer have to rely on my daughter every day to help me because I am always so weak and tired from dialysis.

A kidney transplant would also allow me to get out and do the things I love again​. ​Knowing that I rely on a dialysis machine to keep me alive has really taken a huge toll on my body and mental health. I have faith that one day I will be receiving that life changing call that someone is willing to help save my life. But until that day I am solely dependent on in-center hemodialysis treatments to keep me alive until the day I am transplanted. This journey is not easy so I would be so grateful if you could share my story.
